Validation...

Today I feel validated. The other day I saw this video on youtube and just loved it! Wouldn't it be great if everyone could just be kind to everyone else... maybe if the world saw this video we would be! I know it made me want to be nicer! and now I'm noticing more and more how great the people I'm in Mexico with are! they are amazing and I never leave them without feeling validated! they make my bad days great and I'm so lucky to be here with them! So please... watch this video and remember... you are great!!
Another huge part of my Mexican experience is... du du du! The Color Code! Everyday without fail, our conversations lead to the Color Code..
The Color Code shares four personality Colors:
RED (Motive: POWER)—These are the power wielders. Power: the ability to move from point A to point B and get things done, is what motivates and drives these people. They bring great gifts of vision and leadership and generally are responsible, decisive, proactive and assertive.

BLUE (Motive: INTIMACY)—These are the do-gooders. Intimacy: connecting, creating quality relationships and having purpose, is what motivates and drives these people. They bring great gifts of quality and service and are generally loyal, sincere, and thoughtful.

WHITE (Motive: PEACE)—These are the peacekeepers. Peace: the ability to stay calm and balanced even in the midst of conflict, is what motivates and drives these people. They bring great gifts of clarity and tolerance and are generally kind, adaptable, and good-listeners.
YELLOW (Motive: Fun)—These are the fun lovers. Fun: the joy of living life “in the moment”, is what motivates and drives these people. They bring great gifts of enthusiasm and optimism and are generally charismatic, spontaneous, and sociable.

I've taken the test and am equally Blue-Yellow-White... so I want to know what color you are? Take the test then let me know! Because I find it super interesting and I'd love to know!!

mi vida en mexico!

ba ha ha! I got this Mexican shirt in Zacatlan and when I was walking home from school I decided I wanted a picture of me in it... So I took out my camera and right when I was pressing the take button some wind came and blew my hair and I looked at the picture and started laughing cause it looks like I was trying to model... even though my eye went all squinty...so there ya go... my Mexican model shot!
this was pretty much the most delicious taco I've had in Mexico!! Mismo's taco's are so great!
I caught this spider crawling around my classroom!! it doesn't look very big right now... but in real life it was HUGE!!
Mom... I used the extras from Maria's nails to do my toes! and they turned out awesome!
I love little kids fascination with taking pictures and then showing them on screen... it never fails to make them happy!

this is supposed to be tilted... oops!
Jayne... if we played Slug Bug in Mexico we would be covered in bruises... they're EVERYWHERE!!

A new OXXO was just built down the street from our house... so last night we walked over and got a snack!
